Handmade Valentine's For Lauren

Yesterday, I started going thur the Craft drawer and was amazed by the amount of broken crayons that were all over the drawer.. This gave me an idea.... So, got the kiddos and we gathered all the crayons and made cute Heart crayons for Lauren's 1st grade class.. Added my little bear and came up with these adorable Valentine's to hand out to her class. Think I'm going to go back and put a bow in her hair.

Snow Storm

Last night came our 3rd Snow Storm in a row.. Yes, we had a break in between and we sure didn't get hit as hard as the upper states did.. That was us last year.. I still have the vision in my head...IT WAS ALOT OF SNOW!!

The kiddos were disappointed that they only got a 2hr delay since all the praying for a day off didn't work :( 

Was out bright and early this morning shoveling the driveway.. Which doesn't look that long until you have to shovel it..uggh.. And those of you that know us.. Yes, Mike has all the materials to make my life easier..being a landscaper and all. But, you know the saying with the Shoemaker and his kids.. Everyone else gets helped expect the family.. LOL 

So, my trusty shovel and I went out and shoveled away.. My oldest Maddie did come out and help until her bus came.. She will be tired today...

But, I did stop and take in the sites around our house.. I love when it snows.. To see the fresh snow and peacefulness it brings..Makes me Happy :)

Customized/Personalized Children's Stools

Just got done finishing up a Children's Stool for a customer and it came out really cute.. I don't do to many boy stools so this was a nice change of pace.


My Father-In-Law is the carpenter in the family. .He is retired now and it keeps him busy.. Plus, that fact I know they will be done with loving care.

Look Out World Here Comes Maddie-Pattie Greetings!!!

Got the Kiddos off on the bus and met up with a dear friend this morning for coffee.. She is also a genius if I haven't mention!! I always said she and my husbands Aunt together could rule the world.. The business sense these two have they are unstoppable!!

She is helping me get my hiney in gear and get my business out and noticed. I have been struggling for a very long time how to get Maddie-Pattie noticed. So, we have a plan and I'm the only one who can get this ball rollin'.. I want my girls to look at me and be proud of their Mom see all the struggles I go thur and also the victories too!

I'm the type of person that loves my comfort zone.. I'm the one that's afraid to go into the deep end of the pool.. I play it safe in the shallow end.. So, my New Years Resolution to myself was to step out of my COMFORT ZONE! So, keep your fingers crossed for me in my new venture.. I will keep you posted on my progress!

 

Happy New Years Day!!

Hope Everyone had a great New Years Eve.. It's was low key in our house last night.. We stayed home had a nice dinner with the kiddos and watched the ball drop!

This morning started the 2 traditions in my house when I was growing up.. I have the Bayberry candle burning for Luck!" and the Pork Roast in the Crock Pot with Kraut!! The house smell Yummy!!Ohhh.. Thanks for the girls reminding me.. I forgot to show you another New Year's Tradition we have.. we make baked apples with Marshallows.. And yes, we did have veggies and Mashed Potatoes too :)
